How does Fungal Nail Treatment work?
Our fungal nail treatment uses the Harmony XL Pro™ Nd 1064nm laser to deliver controlled energy through the nail plate, targeting the fungal infection beneath the surface. The laser helps destroy the fungus while leaving the surrounding skin and nail tissue unharmed, allowing a healthy nail to grow back over time.
The Treatment Process:

Test Patch – A small test patch may be carried out before your first appointment.

Fungal nail infections are usually caused by fungi entering the nail through small cracks or damage to the nail or surrounding skin. They commonly develop after athlete's foot or through exposure to warm, damp environments such as communal changing rooms and swimming pools.
No. Most clients find the treatment comfortable and do not require any anaesthetic. You may feel a warming sensation during the laser treatment, but it is generally well tolerated.
Most clients require around three treatment sessions, although this can vary depending on the severity of the infection and how many nails are affected. Your practitioner will recommend the most appropriate treatment plan during your consultation.
The fungal infection is treated during your course of sessions, but the damaged nail needs time to grow out naturally. Most people begin to notice visible improvements within three to six months as healthy nail replaces the infected nail.
