What is Rhinoplasty?
Rhinoplasty, also known as nose surgery or a nose job, is a surgical procedure to reduce the size or change the shape of the nose.
Facial rejuvenation with the use of injectable fillers involves injecting a substance into the skin in order to correct a wrinkle or a deep fold such as nose to mouth lines. Injectable filler can also be used to add volume or fullness to the cheek and lip area.
We use a variety of fillers to suit your needs. Most dermal fillers contain hyaluronic acid which is a naturally occurring sugar found in the skin tissue. This, along with collagen and elastin, forms the building blocks of our skin. Hyaluronic acid can hold over 1000 times its own weight in water, therefore once injected will plump out the lines in the skin giving a more youthful appearance.
We only use FDA approved dermal filler products which have consistently demonstrated safety, efficacy and predictability. At Medispa S10 these are only ever injected by a qualified doctor or nurse prescriber.

Following consultation with your medical practitioner, a topical anaesthetic cream will be applied to the area to be treated. The dermal filler will be gently injected in to the area to instantly fill out to create the desired shape and look. You may experience a little discomfort but most clients find the sensation entirely manageable with local anaesthetic.
There may be a little swelling and redness after treatment, which generally subsides within a couple of hours. Infrequently bruising may occur in the treated area but this will usually fade over a few days and can be covered with make-up.
Dermal fillers will usually last between 6 and 12 months.
